Can I Have a Professional Job and Still do a Boudoir Shoot?

Hey friends! We're going to take a minute to talk about a common misconception about who can do a boudoir shoot. We have a lot of women who tell us they can't do a boudoir shoot because of their profession, especially those who work with the public or teach. We understand that you have to protect your job at all costs, and we honor the need for privacy. However, we're here to tell you that you can absolutely do a boudoir shoot, regardless of your career. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, and we will make sure you are protected so you are free to enjoy the experience that you deserve.

You can have a professional job and still do a boudoir shoot

To give you peace of mind, let's talk about the precautions we take to ensure your identity and experience are as protected as you would like. We just want to remind you that this is one of the big reasons you should choose an experienced, professional photographer to handle your boudoir shoot

Did you know that you are in complete control of the privacy of your experience and photos? Before we even get to shooting, we will talk to you about model releases.

We offer different model releases that allow us to share any of your images, select sets or outfits, some of your images with anonymity that doesn't show your identifying features, or zero release, which means nothing is shared except with you, the client. Read more about our model releases here.

Making sure you are comfortable is our top priority, and we respect client confidentiality above all else. This experience is a luxury experience to celebrate you, and we want that to be as inclusive as possible. We want to give you an experience that focuses on who you are outside of your job and life roles (Unless you want to incorporate those pieces of you, of course). You deserve to step away from life to fall back in love with yourself. We all need the reminder of how incredible we are and how sexy we are.

When you get your images and products back, what to do with them is entirely up to you. You never have to tell a single soul that you did a boudoir session. The point of doing a boudoir shoot is for yourself (and/or your partner if you'd like!). All that we ask is that you are honest about what you want our role to be in sharing your experience. You take the lead, and we will follow what you want!

It's also important to note that if you want to share a testimonial, we can share it on your behalf, and we will never use your full name without your full consent. Most of our shared testimonials from our page refer to reviewers as "Miss Letter of their First Name." For example, if someone's name is Sarah, we will say "Miss S." If sharing your first initial feels too risky for you, we will not even share that. Again, just let us know that you don't want any identifying information shared, including your initial.

We hope this clears up the misconception that women and couples in professional careers can't do boudoir sessions! If you have any further questions about the policies we have in place to protect privacy, make sure to contact us via email. If you are ready to take the leap for yourself, contact us here to get on the books. Remember that we can book out for next year to give you ample time to prepare mentally and financially!

We can't wait to see you in the studio!
