Miss T’s Boudoir Experience

What inspired you to book your session?

I had been hurting in the self love department for a few years. So I decided that it was past time to do something to feel beautiful again!

How did you feel leading up to your session?

I was admittedly nervous. I've struggled with my body image a lot and I was really afraid that I would feel like I just shouldn't be there. But even in that feeling I felt excited because I wanted so badly to step out of my comfort zone and do something for me again.

 How did you feel during your session?

I actually felt really relaxed! Emma makes it so easy to feel like anything is possible. She will get down on the floor with you and help you figure out a pose. She'll adjust and readjust until she has you in just the right light to make sure the picture turns out perfect. And the client closet is so stunning and inclusive - there is plenty of outfits for anyone! Honestly, you'll have a harder time deciding how to pick just a few when you want to wear everything!

How did you feel after your session?

I was dying to see my pictures! I felt beautiful and sexy and like I finally had confidence again.

What was your favorite part about your session?

Laughing with Emma - she is super funny and down to earth! Of course the outfits and posing is fun, but it's always so great to just get to meet someone who is so open and you can just talk with.

A few words to describe your boudoir experience?

I was so nervous coming in, but it melted away almost instantly. Between Savanna talking with me throughout hair and makeup, and Emma helping me pick outfits, and her Ambassador there to hype me up through the whole thing? It was so easy to feel confident and like this was the best decision I had made 💜 And it was honestly a lot of fun. There were never any really awkward moments at all - there were laughs and down to earth talks. It felt amazing to be surrounded by other women who were nothing but supportive and fun!

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about doing a session? 

My advice, is do it. You just have to do it. You would be hard pressed to find a kinder, funnier, more inclusive photographer than Emma.

There's no bad reason to decide it's time - call it a gift to yourself, call it self love/pampering, call it a gift for your significant other. Literally any reason is a good reason 💞
