What NOT to Bring to Your Boudoir Session

we are a safe space, do not bring mean girl energy

Hey friend! We're so glad you're here. We talk a lot about what to bring and what to expect for a session, but sometimes, we need a reminder of what we shouldn't be bringing to the studio for your boudoir session. We have the absolute best clients, so we know most of these shouldn't be a problem! Use this post as a gentle reminder of our expectations for a smooth and luxurious experience for all our clients!

Let's get the most serious DO NOT out of the way first…

Do not bring racism, intolerance, or mean girl vibes to the studio. We are a safe and inclusive space for all individuals and bodies. We want every person of every ability and background to feel welcome when they walk in our doors. Please refrain from bringing harmful attitudes and language to your session so everyone can feel secure to show up as themselves!

If you're working with Emma Early Photography, we know you are kind and respectful, so we don't anticipate that being an issue, but we want our actions and words to constantly align so that our new friends and faces can feel confident in our values.

Alright! Now, let's focus on the "less serious" but equally important things.

Leave your tight bras, panties, and clothes at home. When you come to the studio, you'll be sitting for a bit to get your hair and makeup done. You don't want the indent lines from clothes and garments that are too tight. Wear as loose and as little clothing as possible to make sure your body is photograph-ready when you put your fun outfits on!

Leave the hype squad at home. Our studio is a safe space to focus on you. This isn't the time to be worried about anyone else's opinions. We are professionals and want you to express yourself freely without worrying about anyone else. You're paying a lot for this experience and deserve to be as stress-free as possible. Unless you're doing a couples session, we ask you to leave your partner, friends, and children at home. If you have any questions or concerns about coming by yourself, please ask us questions. We strive to make this a comfortable experience for you.

Keep your cynical self thoughts at the door! Listen, you are so loved, sexy, and brilliant as you are. Don't let your fears obstruct the experience you deserve by being just YOU

We WANT to photograph you as you are. We are professionals who know how to capture bomb ass images!

We WANT you to see your sexuality by showing you different angles and outfits that enhance all of your best features…. (Spoiler alert: We all have beautiful features!

We WANT you to trust the process. Maybe you think there's no way that you could love boudoir images of yourself. Let us prove that you will most likely fall in love with almost every (if not EVERY) photo of yourself. Trust us and trust yourself that you're in our studio for a reason. Let go and let yourself be.

There you have it… That's the list! Our studio is a place for fun vibes, vulnerability, and a good time! We're so excited to open our doors to you and connect on a deep level. Boudoir is such special work, and we don't take this job lightly. You're in the best hands, and we can't wait to have you ready!
